Omni Spec specializes in providing operational and computational software for spectral data acquisition & calculations and for color determinations. Omni Spec has written a number of programs for spectral and color measurements, including:

- C-Scan (Chromatography Data Acquisition and Analysis for the Iatroscan "TLC+FID" MK5)
Omni Spec also consults with users of spectrometers, assisting in providing for the optimum use of spectrometers for field work (including ground truth), process control, and scientific research. Omni Spec provides specialized spectrometers and spectral imagers. Omni Spec is a distributor for the Zeiss MMS spectrometers and the Cronin spectrometer systems (which utilizes the Zeiss MMS spectrometers). For specialized systems, other spectrometers, colorimeters, and monochrometers can be supplied.
